Home to one of the oldest universities in Europe

Studying and Working in ³Òö³Ù³Ù¾±²Ô²µ±ð²Ô

³Òö³Ù³Ù¾±²Ô²µ±ð²Ô has been one of Germany's most important academic centers since the 17th century. In the 1700s, it was known for its philosophers and poets, while the 19th century saw it earn the nickname "the city that spawns scientific achievement." Nowadays, ³Òö³Ù³Ù¾±²Ô²µ±ð²Ô hosts numerous universities. There's the enormous Georg-August University, various Max Planck Institutes, the German Aerospace Center, and the Private University of Applied Sciences, and students can choose highly specialized aviation engineering courses, or general science, humanities, and management degrees. It all blends neatly with the region's major employers, including the companies in the Dresden-Saxony aerospace cluster, or major industrial companies such as Dow and Porsche.
