The English language Master’s study program in Electrical Engineering offers six specializations to choose from: Smart Information Processing, Communication Systems, Nano- and Optoelectronics, Power-electronic Systems and Technologies, Smart Sensors, or Electromagnetics and Applications. These specializations equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to drive innovation and address the challenges of our rapidly evolving world.

In order to study you must show proof that you have advanced English skills of at least level C1. You will need either: Recognized certificates (e.g. TOEFL ibt 95 points or IELTS Band 7) or At least six semesters on a Bachelor’s study program in the English language.
Qualification Requirements
Admission to the Master's program in Electrical Engineering requires a professional qualification Suitability for the course of study is required. Professionally suitable is someone who: 1.a) a degree in a bachelor's degree program lasting at least six semesters (or equivalent degree) in electrical engineering and information technology or in a course of study that is closely related in terms of content and has qualifying qualifications Examination results at a German university or equivalent University, technical college, dual university or vocational academy, their degree is equivalent to a technical college degree, or 1.b) an equivalent qualification in this subject Examination results obtained at a foreign university. 2. the following competencies as part of his qualification according to No. 1a) or b). acquired the necessary qualifications for successful completion of the master's degree program Electrical engineering is required. Subsequent modules of the Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and information technology or equivalent Modules or examination achievements must be proven: All basic and core modules of the basic studies in accordance with the examination regulations for the bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering and information technology in each valid version. The admissions committee decides on equivalence. If you have more than one university degree, please choose the degree which serves as entrance qualification for the Master’s program you are applying for (Entrance Qualification for Master's Program). Supplementary application material: Depending on the subject, you may be asked for additional application material that you must be sure to enclose. Students still working on or who have finished their Bachelor’s at another university need to upload a description of the modules taken during their Bachelor’s studies.
