Course description
Autonomous systems that learn from data, self-regulate, and tackle complex problems are essential to address various technological and social challenges. These challenges span across mobility, energy, construction, and production. The course provides in-depth knowledge in intelligent detection, exploration, planning, and decision-making. It also covers the necessary software skills for developing future-oriented, autonomously operating systems. Graduates will gain the ability to independently analyze software issues in areas like autonomous mobile systems, software engineering, and testing. They will use scientific methods to handle dynamically changing application areas characterized by uncertain knowledge. Qualification Requirements
The qualification requirement for admission to this academic study programme is a successfully completed Bachelor's degree in an engineering or natural science discipline or Computer Science with a total of 210 ECTS. In the case of a Bachelor's degree for which less than 210 but at least 180 ECTS points have been awarded, you must provide evidence of the missing skills (additionally passed examinations or internships). For admission, an aptitude test must be passed which shows whether skills for the special qualitative knowledge and requirements of the master's degree programme AI Engineering of Autonomous Systems were acquired in the bachelor's degree programme which can be expected to lead to a successful course of study. In the aptitude test, the submitted documents are evaluated with regard to the following criteria areas Grade of the degree of the engineering or natural science Bachelor's programme or the Computer Science Bachelor's programme Skills in mathematics, engineering, programming, software development and Computer Science Independent scientific work and experience in engineering problem solving.
