Course description
Computer science is the discipline focused on the systematic and automated processing of information. It explores the structures, characteristics, and methods to describe information and its processing. This field also delves into the setup, functioning, and construction principles of computer systems. Researchers investigate general procedural methods of information processing and their applications. The study program includes developing modern experimental and product-oriented information processing systems. Computer science branches into theoretical computer science, practical computer science, technical computer science, and applied computer science. In theoretical computer science, you study the fundamental principles and mathematical underpinnings of computation. Practical computer science covers software development and programming techniques. Technical computer science focuses on hardware and the integration of software and hardware systems. Applied computer science looks at the practical application of computing in various fields.
