University of Hamburg Application 

For the University of Hamburg's application process for international students, applications for the winter semester 2025 can be submitted through the STiNE portal between June 1 - July 15 for most programs. International master鈥檚 programs have an earlier application window from February 15 - March 31. Prospective students need to create a STiNE application account, after which they receive access details by email. 

 

For certain programs, alternative application periods or extensions may apply, so it鈥檚 best to confirm specific program dates on the university's official admissions page.

General Language Requirements

Language requirements vary by program. For German-taught programs, proficiency in German (TestDaF, DSH) is necessary. However, English-taught programs require tests like IELTS or TOEFL.
