KLU is a small, business-focused university in Hamburg, which fits neatly with the city's trade-oriented economy. Offering courses in international logistics and supply chain management, the university works closely with international partners, and has rapidly become a highly-ranked logistics education center.
Although the name suggests that it is a corporate venture, Kühne Logistics University (KLU) was founded by the charitable arm of logistics company Kühne, with cooperation from the City of Hamburg. It offers high-quality courses at Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD level in subjects related to trade, management, and general logistics - preparing students well for a world based around eCommerce, international connections, and constant competition.
The university is small (with just over 200 students), but extends its reach via international exchanges, and a network of work placements with major local companies. It also benefits from being located in Hamburg - a cultural, sporting, economic, and nightlife hub that guarantees a lively student experience. Courses are taught in English, making the university suitable for most international applicants.
